My adventure with the PCC Group began just after defending my Master's thesis in 2014. What I like at my work? Every day brings new challenges and there is no room for boredom or routine. At the PCC Group, I cooperate with people and entities which ask for support from us in the form of a donation or sponsorship. Additionally, I organise different events which take place at our company. Their range is very wide - including business meetings, conferences, sports tournaments, open days and family picnics for our employees. Another thing which gives me a lot of satisfaction is the responsibility for the corporate newsletter, PCC Chem News.
I have been working in the sector of liquid chemical goods transport for 15 years.
My adventure at the PCC Group began over 3 years ago, when I took on the post of the Technical Department Head and Project Manager. By working here I am able to continue my professional development and gain new experience, thus raising my qualifications. On a daily basis I deal with the technical aspects of transport and design intermodal solutions. I like challenges and appreciate my work. Every day brings something different and surprising. As such, the efficient teamwork is crucial. Thanks to my team members working here is a pure pleasure.
My adventure with the PCC Group has started when I finished my studies in 2013. My everyday work at a modern Instrumental Lab is interesting and full of challenges. Additionally, the opportunity of working with specialists and lab equipment when applying the HPLC, GC, IR, IC, ICP-OES methods, have resulted in my professional development. The qualitative and quantitative testing, calibration and maintenance of instruments, as well as participation in various deployment projects have significantly helped me raise my competences, pursue self-development and have given me a great deal of satisfaction.
My adventure with the PCC Group has begun over 40 years ago as a Steam Boiler Fitter. Currently I am the Head of the CHP Plant Department, which mainly deals with the production of process steam and electricity used within the organisation, as well as production of district heating for Brzeg Dolny.
In my everyday work I value my cooperation with staff members, contact with external companies, and the opportunity to participate in new, challenging investment projects aimed at improving the working conditions, workplace safety and environmental protection. The work organisation, communication, focus on staff safety as wells as current and future investment projects at PCC create vast opportunities for personal and professional development for everyone who wants to achieve a lot in their career and at the same time enjoy their life.
I have begun working at the Sales Department of the Polyols Complex in November 2015. By coincidence, it was my birthday so I took it as a good token. I was hired as a Trainee Chemist and had to perform all kinds of tasks: from dealing with marketing-related issues, to organising trade fairs, analysing sales data and going on my first business trips, to learning about product specifications at the R&D laboratory.
Seven months later I have been promoted to a Sales Specialist and now I am responsible for direct business contact with customers all over the world and for selling our products outside Europe. Each day is different; I deal with interesting matters and, what's important to me, I keep learning new things and expanding my knowledge thus increasing my value as an employee of PCC. I definitely recommend working at the PCC Group to everyone who is not afraid to take on challenges and who would like to work in a place which offers vast development opportunities.
I have been working at PCC since November 2014, my first position being an intern at the Sales Department in the Polyols Business Unit. The development opportunities I have received from the PCC Group enabled me to quickly gain valuable experience, and to take on the post of a Sales Manager at the Chlorine Business Unit.
Currently, I deal with supply of chemical materials to clients, which allow them to manufacture products of the highest quality. My work at PCC enables me to combine everything I like most: direct contact with people all over the world, opportunities for further development and persistent challenges, which make my life never boring 🙂
